Richard G. Hagerty | Board Chair
Dick was born in Tacoma, WA where he was raised in a strong Christian home. He accepted Christ in his early teens and has served the Lord continuously in many ways. He is an ordained Baptist deacon and currently serves as Mission Elder at Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Modesto California. He is married to Teresa Quintero and has 2 daughters and 4 sons, who he adopted from a Mexican orphanage. Dick founded and is active in a number of other local businesses, acting as one of the principal owners, corporate officer and providing supervisory overview of administration. These entities include Modesto Steel Co. Inc. (40 years), Modesto Welding Products, Inc. (38 years), Great Valley Real Estate (5 years) and Windward Pacific Builders (2 years) He has chaired a local seminary board in Modesto where he also taught church administration classes and he taught accounting and management courses at California State University Stanislaus for three years. He continues to present occasional lectures at the university and also conducts management seminars for various non-profit charities. He mentors extensively for the Salvation Army where he serves on the National Board.
Tim has been heavily involved with mission boards for decades. He is also the owner of CorpComm Group, a successful marketing company in Lima, Ohio. Tim is passionate about telling the AO story and he tells it well. He brings a wealth of creativity and insight to the organization.
Murray is the Assistant Superintendent for International Missions of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. He has a long history of mission leadership and field experience in Africa and around the world. Murray brings a strong level of wisdom and leadership to Asian Outreach.
Grant McArthur is an entrepreneur, with a huge heart for giving back to communities in need. He is a advocate of “teaching to succeed” rather than “giving to succeed”. He has travelled extensively throughout his life, which has brought with it knowledge of many cultures. He has been involved in mission work for many years. He and his wife, Alka have two sons, Terrance & Chad.
Greg has been involved with global mission since 1983. He was a missions/church planting catalyst and pastor in Vancouver for 17 years. He has a long-standing interest in Asia, which was most recently nurtured while serving the PAOC for nearly a year with his family in Bangkok, Thailand. Greg currently lives in Richmond where he is a Western Canada Mission Mobilizer. Greg and his wife are blessed with two great kids, Parker and Alicia.
Marie is the director for Mission One Eleven Canada, an organization that concentrates their energies on reaching the remaining unengaged people groups of the world. Her heart is for the fulfilment of God’s Eternal Mission, and her passion is for the local and global church. Soul-winning, discipleship and church planting will remain her focus for the the rest of her days. Marie and her husband live in Niagara and are the happy parents of five grown children.
